The Puppet Conservatory
A recent addition to our creative portfolio is the formation of The Puppet Conservatory Theatre Company – our in-house puppet performing arts group.
We start with a story, written or adapted by our Creative Programme Leader, playwright (having written for performances in Edinburgh), puppet-master, and all-round visual arts star, Hollie.
Puppet design and making follow, then rehearsals and performances. Acting comes into this too, with the embodying of puppets with character and personality.
These multidimensional projects inspire and draw members in new ways, and we’re incredibly pleased to introduce this new project into the mix.
